This married music duo—Ben and Emily Roberts—writes and performs songs, knowing that there are already enough love songs on earth. They evoke a blue collar image, not because it’s relatable, but because it’s who they truly are.
From their earliest days of collaborating, they have crafted their sound to be a perfect mix of the lyrical grit and wit of Hank Williams Sr. and the tender atmosphere of Heartbreaker-era Ryan Adams. Carolina Story—Ben and Emily—are from Arkansas and South Dakota respectively.
