Land Trust Day at MidCity

Celebrate and support the Land Trust on Saturday, October 24 at MidCity District with a day full of fun activities, planned with safety in mind! Proceeds benefit Land Trust of North Alabama to help fill the gap in funding lost from 2020 cancelled events. Suggested donation of $20/vehicle but a gift of any amount is appreciated. Social 6ft distancing and face covering required.

9:30 AM   Yoga at The Camp
Bring a mat & water. Stay for brunch. Free to participate.

10:30 AM – 1:00 PM   Brunch and Bluegrass at The Camp featuring Randy Waller Band and Brooks & Overdone
Guests can spread out across The Camp and adjoining lawn to enjoy live bluegrass with 6ft distancing. Grab brunch from The Camp.

2:00 – 3:00 PM   Tie Dye Class at The Camp
Create a tie dye creation with instructor and tie-dye master Jim Congdon! First, get registered! Then stop by The Camp between 2:00 and 3:00 PM and participants will take turns at the tie dye station (one individual or household group at a time). When you’re not tie dying grab a drink or snack from The Camp and enjoy a beautiful fall afternoon. Fee includes instruction, dyes, one tshirt, and all the supplies needed to tie-dye one tshirt! If you register by Friday, October 16, you have the option to include a Land Trust Green Pea Press tshirt (white shirt with black design: Otherwise a plain white tshirt will be provided. Tshirts are prepped and ready for dyeing. You must use the shirt provided. Cost: $15-$25. Registration required. Space limited.

4:00 – 6:30 PM   Concert at The Camp featuring James LeBlanc & Angela Hacker and Lamont Landers Band
Guests can spread out across The Camp and adjoining lawn to enjoy the concert with 6ft distancing. Food and drinks available from The Camp.

7:00 – 9:00 PM   Drive-in Movie showing Young Frankenstein
Drive-in viewing of this Halloween classic will be in the gravel lot next to The Camp. Tune into 107.9 FM to listen from your vehicle. An area will also be available to bring chairs and blankets for outdoor viewing with social distancing.

9:00 AM – 9:00 PM    Online Silent Auction sponsored by Lankford & Battle Allstate Agency
Discover unique art and other items contributed by local businesses and individuals. All proceeds benefit Land Trust of North Alabama. 



-When moving around venue, 6’ distancing and masks required.
– Prepared foods in single-use dishes served to limit wait time and mitigate lines. Only 1-2 members of each party should be sent to order food.
– Sanitizing stations throughout the venue.
