Huntsville-Madison County Public Library’s BLAST Program

BLAST is a free, online music streaming platform that amplifies the talent within North Alabama’s vibrant music scene.

BLAST offers an easy way to discover and stream the original music of hundreds of local musicians across all genres – right in your browser, with no login or library card required. Launched by the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library in 2021, the platform provides regularly updated playlists, curated artist selections and other features that help connect music fans to the dynamic music ecosystem within Huntsville’s cultural landscape.

BLAST also supports artists selected into the platform through honorariums and ongoing community engagement.
